Currency

The Turkish currency is called the Lira.  Euros are also accepted as well as dollars in some areas from what we understand.  We decided to purchase some Lira before we go to Turkey so we went to the bank and ordered it in a mix after John watched the currency exchange market for awhile. You can use credit cards, ATM machines, or exchange your currency in Turkey but we like to go with some cash in hand.  Below are some links if you want to watch the market.
